Alana Sharps is a multi-talented Business Strategist, Thought Leader, and Author. She is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a certified Six Sigma enthusiast in process improvement. She has coached C-Suite executives through continuous improvement processes that aligned with business strategies, increased operational efficiencies, and yielded millions in corporate-wide cost savings.
Alana is also a survivor of a toxic marriage tangled in narcissistic abuse. As a result, she decided to pivot her technical expertise to a proven methodology for helping others overcome similar struggles. She is now a Certified High Conflict Divorce and Child Custody Consultant focusing on helping women get through the battle of post-separation abuse.
Battling a narcissist in family court is not an easy task and requires a unique skill set. Alana effectively prepares her clients for their tense legal battles with individuals who refuse to negotiate or collaborate. She does this by coaching through the four pillars of mindset growth, self-care, communication strategies, and evidentiary documentation techniques.
Alana’s journey from victim to survivor inspired her to make this type of support her life’s work. She has courageously captured her story of survival and resilience in her life-changing book “Is it My Fault?”. Her hope is that her clients and others will survive and thrive beyond their expectations.
When taking a pause from her passion to empower survivors, Alana serves the community in several non-profits. She is a board member for Time4Change of NC, a mentor for women in the HER Foundation, and a member of the National Society of Black Engineers. Alana is also the mother of three and resides in Raleigh, NC with her children and two dogs.

We are on a mission to show other family’s how they can achieve more, live more, be more, have more. Right Now. With the income you currently have.
We were just like you, living a “normal” life:
House, cars, kids, vacation once or twice a year, sports, grocery shopping…
We would commute to work and then rush home to have dinner with the kids, play outside for a bit and then watch a show and get ready for bed to do it all over again the next day.
So what happened? After one of our vacations, we woke up and realized that we wanted more out of life. We wanted to spend more time with each other and our kids.
So we had this Crazy idea…
What if we travel the world? With our kids? Before they grow up?
Once this idea was spoken, we couldn’t stop thinking about it.
Was it the “right” choice to make for our family?
Did it make sense to even think of this as a possibility?
Hours upon hours, upon weeks, upon months of conversation, we came to the conclusion that this was something that we HAD to do.
Only ONE BIG PROBLEM: We didn’t have the money!
Despite all of John’s experience as a Financial Advisor and later a Wall Street trader for a small company, we had never “hit it big”. We had kept our heads above water through 4 job losses (within seemingly stable careers), multiple out-of-states moves, and a failed real estate flip. So how could we possibly make this happen without jobs that could be done remotely? Without a pile of cash?
Fast Forward 7 "short” months. We boarded a plane with one-way tickets to begin our new traveling journey. Our first destination? Bali. We had gone from $0 to having 1-year’s worth of expenses saved up. The process that we discovered became the foundation for our Financial Alignment Program.
We realized that our passion was in sharing this process with other families just like you, so you have the ability to DO MORE with your own family — whatever that may look like for you!
